so one more family has a safe, stable
place to call home.
Women Build is back this year with a hybrid of in-person service and virtual fundraising! We are inviting all of Alamance County to join us in raising the funds to sponsor the Women Build Habitat house! The Women Build program is not about excluding men; it's about including women and challenging them to help eliminate poverty housing in our community by providing a female-friendly work site that empowers women to take leadership roles and learn new skills.
Our goal for this event is threefold: Raise money to build the house, empower women, and raise awareness of the need for affordable housing. You can be part of our effort by signing up to serve and/or donating below. Share the link to this page with your friends and network. Help us get the word out!!
Building together: You will find women of all ages, ethnicities, professions, and faiths serving together on the Women Build construction site. We hope you'll join us!
Financial support of the Women Build house:
1). She Nailed it! Week: If you choose to serve as an individual volunteer on the build site during our She Nailed It! week (September 7-10th), you'll be making a $50 fundraising gift as part of your registration. That is the first option listed in the donation section below.
2.) Make a donation: If you would like to make a general donation to the Women Build house, you can do so below by selecting an amount in the "Other Habitat Donations" section. You'll then select the "Women Build 2022" fund.
3.) "Buy" an Item for the house: In addition to (or in place of) serving on the build site, you can donate funds which we will use to buy an item for the Women Build house! Items are listed below and available in a variety of options and price points.
